Dear Lord,
Dear Lord,
Thank you. Thank you for the opportunity to learn and grow in every situation. Thank you for teaching me to lean on your understanding. Thank you for teaching me that YOU know from the beginning to the end. Thank you for teaching me that this is not OUR burden to bear. Amen.
Today I visited a document that I have placed on the back burner. It is the page where I organize my thoughts for the ministry I am believing for. As I read the scriptures that are written, I understood that my ministry has already begun.
James 5:16: Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
This scripture drives the fact that as Christians we are not perfect. We are not to pretend we are perfect. We are to acknowledge our faults and pray them through.
The next scripture is Jer 17:7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. 8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. This one. Thiisss ooonnnee…. This was prophesied over me a while ago. I stand on that prophecy.
After that scripture is written this. “DO NOT SINK IN DEFEAT. I CANNOT BE DEFEATED AND I WILL NOT QUIT!!”
My God. My God. My God. … My God! My God! My God! … My God!! My God!! My God!! … MY GOD!! MY GOD!! MY GOD!! In Him I will place my trust. I will know that restoration and healing are coming. I will not allow the enemy to cause my heart to hate. I choose love. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
I choose to KNOW that God is creating a kingdom building opportunity. I choose to know that God is in charge and OUR steps are ordered. I choose to know that salvation of MANY is on the other side. This is what truly matters.
If I can be vulnerable for a moment. I have moments that I fear I cannot maintain faith for the long period of time that may be required of me. Writing this, he reminded me that he does not place more on me than I can bear. MY GOD!! MY GOD!! MY GOD!! I choose to decrease my fears, my anxiety, myself, and allow Holy Spirit to increase every area that is lacking at that moment.
This began with prayers for restoration and healing, and this will end with restoration and healing.
P.S. I love you.
